Test Retake Policy
The test and quiz improvement policy is included on this document. You have two weeks , unless it's at the end of trimester, to show that you have worked to learn the content. When you come during advisory to do the test or quiz, you must bring the signed paper showing evidence of preparedness to retake the test or quiz.
Put a Hall Heading on a graph piece.
- Copy the original problem from the test and solve it correctly.
- Write about the error you made in the original test. (I________instead of _______.)
- Explain, using correct mathematical vocabulary, how to solve the problem. Example: First, I __________ because __________. Next, I ________ because _________.
- Each incorrect problem needs to be corrected.
- Staple this to the back of the original test.
- Due one week after the test was returned.
You can do the corrections in a 3 column format, but if you have large handwriting just label a, b, & c. Here is an example of 3 column corrections.
