mode - the most "popular" number(s) - ex. 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 9 where 4 and 7 are the modes. This is bimodal = 2 modes.

central tendency - refers to the "middle" value of a data set, ex. mean, median and mode

range - data set: 4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 9 where the range = highest - lowest score = 9 - 4 = 5

outlier - data set: 3, 4, 5, 5, 43 where 43 is an outlier

box & whisker plot

stem and leaf plot

maximum - the largest number in a data set, ex. 4, 4, 5, 7, 7, 9 - where 9 is the maximum

minimum - the smallest number in a data set, ex. 4, 4, 5, 7, 7, 9 - where 4 is the minimum

quadrants

coordinates, ex. (3, 4) where 3 is the x-coordinate

ordered pair, ex. (3, 4)
